Rally against violence of camp-securities in Lindenstrasse

Call for rally in front of the ministry of social affairs: Tuesday, 28th of May, 1pm, Bahnhofsplatz 29

A few days ago security in the camp of Lindenstraße threatened young refugees from the movement together-we-are-Bremen and brutally attacked them physically. This was preceded by months of provocations and racist attacks. The situation has become unbearable. The inhabitants feel threatened. The security service deliberately escalates situations, attacks people, throws them to the ground, chokes them and threatens them. The attacks take place under the eyes of the AWO. They do not only tolerate them but respond to the many complaints of the residents in saying that the AWO is not responsible for the security forces and therefore they could do nothing.

Just a few weeks ago, security forces at the University Hospital in Hamburg killed William Tounou-Mbobda with a brutal and racist assault.
In order to avoid more deaths, we demand from the ministry of social affairs: The immediate termination of the contract with the security in Lindenstraße!

In addition to the ongoing threats and attacks there are the inhumane conditions in the camp:
People have to live with up to 11 people in one room. The windows can not be opened and the air is stuffy, the electricity and heating is partly broken and there is no peace or privacy. Even so the camp is made only to stay there some weeks, people have to live under these conditions several months or even more.

We therefore also demand:
The immediate improvement of the housing conditions!
Stop the brutality of security forces! Stop racism! Black lives matter!

Stop the brutality of Security forces! Stop racism! Black lives matter !
