Yesterday for the first time some of the women who face the racist treatment (not only) at Standesamt Bremen decided to speak out, courageously and without fear. One of the speakers explained how being suspected of doing wrong or doing criminal things is sadly an experience all black people know too well. This is exactly what Standesamt is doing: suspecting black refugee mothers and denying basic rights to them and the babies. This was only the beginning. Together we stand together we fight: papers for all or no papers at all!
